our 30th wedding......!!

Three and half years ago my husband and I picked up our assigned seating at a dear friend's wedding and were like "who?"....we had kinda expected to be sitting with some of our regular peeps, but know what? thank GOD (or whoever) we were assigned a twist to our norm. Our wise friend knew we would hit it off big time with our future bffs at the four-top we were assigned to. And that.was.that. Since that night it has been ON. I fell in love that night with these two dudes. We had so much in common.....SO much. And it was way too much to pack into a 6 hour evening...so we continued that relationship and it grew...and grew......and my love for them did as well.

Fast forward three point five years and here they are!! On SF ground. Gettin' married and shizzle. I was HONORED to do whatever task was available. We had a blast going to the SF Flower Mart and constructing their boutonnieres...all the time while listening to romantic jazzy tunes and 80s throw backs............

I used blue thread to secure the air plants....something blue! 

something borrowed...I wore these sweet swallows (from my grandmother) on my wedding bouquet on my wedding day.

Tony's mother did ALL this work...the sweet flower girl carried the rings in this beautiful pouch.

because, goats.

SO. much. history.

I mean, I'll just say it. I think our City Hall is prettier than your City Hall.

this was my hubby and mine THIRTIETH wedding we have attended together (yes, mom, yours included...our own included...etc.). but our FIRST same sex wedding. and it was just beyond special.
