colorful MOVIE THEATERS in south India shot by ZOCHE + HAUBITZ

Between 2010 and 2013 German photographers Stefanie Zoche and Sabine Haubitz traveled to South India to capture the colorful facades and interiors of movie theaters. The majority of these architectural structures falling in the time frame of 30's to 70's. Art Deco characteristics, local architectural elements, strong colors significant to the culture and Modernism are a continued mixed theme.
